Stephen Brickley
 
Piano/ Guitar/ Electric Bass/ Double Bass/ Music Theory

Stephen Brickley is a proffesional musician, tutor, composer, arranger and a performer with a vast wealth of experience.

After studying at Leeds College of Music, Stephen began his
performing career backing international entertainers on the QE2 ship.
Following this he worked in musical theatre on tours such as Annie,
Blood Brothers, Little Shop of Horrors, The Rat Pack, Crazy for you,
Barnum, Sweet Charity, Guys and Dolls. In addition, he has been a pit
musician for 20 years in the annual pantomimes.

For the last sixteen years Stephen has been teaching Piano, Guitar, Electric Bass, Double Bass and Vocal students in Sheffield and has recently relocated to Bath area. Prior to this Stephen has spent a year at Oxford Brookes gaining a PGCE in secondary Music.
As a piano teacher he has enabled a number of students to earn
music scholarships. Ten pupils have now gone on to graduate from
various music colleges. Stephen works with youth and school Orchestras, were he teaches guitar and Double bass and Guitar. He is also an arranger
and has written hundreds of his own bespoke Sibelius arrangements
to suit the needs of his piano students.

Here is what Stephen says about his approach: "I teach all styles of piano and gravitate toward ABRSM for examinations in this subject. On Guitar I also teach all styles. I have been teaching Rock School since the project was developed and have recently shifted toward Trinity Rock and Pop."
