​Stacy Yimeng Chen
Piano/Music Theory
Yimeng (Stacy) Chen is a professional pianist and an experienced piano and music theory tutor. She is also currently a leader of the ‘Divine Melody Choir’ in the UK.
Yimeng Chen was born in Shanghai, China and now lives in London. She is a graduate from the University of Liverpool and holds Masters in Music (Classical Piano Pathway) Performace. Yimeng is a versatile musician with interests ranging from European classical music such as Beethoven, Mozart, Bach, to composing and performing as a guitarist, double bassist and a pop-song vocal singer.

Yimeng begun to teach in 2017 as a one to one piano instructor in Shanghai, continued her teaching career in the UK as a supply tutor to local schools and colleges in Liverpool, and recently moved to London where she has joined CSOMAA and the Hope Music Academy.
Yimeng has collaborated with the violist in the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra in 2021 and held her piano concert in the Victoria Gallery & Museum, the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Hall’s music room and the Yoko-Ono Lennon Centre.
She attended the ‘Mozart +’music concert in London St.John’s Smith Square in August 2023. Yimeng was invited to perform as a 'Divine Melody Choir' alto member, and a pianist for the Christmas Charity Concert in December 2023.
She is also the founder of ‘Hobby But Professional' London music salon event.

Yimeng is passionate about teaching, enjoys sharing knowledge, experience and her technique with pupils.
Yimeng has a sweet and kind personality, her approach is patient and encouraging. The tutor has over five years of teaching experience and works well with the very young pupils as well as those who are pursuing advanced grades.
Yimeng has experience in working with ABRSM and Trinity examinations.
