Hannah Corcoran

Saxophone/Flute/Clarinet/Music Theory
Hannah has completed her Master of Arts degree at the Royal Academy of Music in London, after previously attending the Royal Northern College of Music for her Bachelor of Music degree.
She has performed with the BBC Symphony Orchestra in the Last Night of the Proms, the London Sinfonietta at the Royal Festival Hall and as a soloist at Wigmore Hall. As a chamber musician she has enjoyed concert tours of China and Switzerland and has performed live on BBC Radio 3. She has performed live and recorded with artists including Paloma Faith, Craig David, Cory Wong, Emeli Sandé, Sigma, Lily Allen and the Sugababes.
Hannah has performed at festivals across the UK and Europe and also live on BBC Radio 1. She recorded flute and saxophones for DJ Spoony’s ‘Garage Classical’ album with Sony and holds the woodwind chair for the Ignition Orchestra, which whom she has performed in venues such as the Hammersmith Apollo, Barbican Centre and the Royal Albert Hall. Hannah has also made TV appearances live on BBC One and for Skoda.
Hannah is fun, supportive, kind and engaging tutor with over 6 years of experience in teaching (ABRSM and RSL exam boards) and easily finds approach to children of different ages and levels of exprerience.
